Cosmetic upgrades to my new DS/DS JCW - advice please!
So, as my last thread says I got a good deal on a pre-ordered JCW with the spec I wanted but i'm still not sure of the colour combo of Dark Silver with matching roof. I wanted DS or Red with a black roof as I think the car looks really nice and Dark with the dechromed front and the Chilli tinted glass.
I've ordered dealer fit black cooper stripes but am thinking of something more to make it a bit more special. Ideally I'd like the new version of the GP wheels (multispoke) to make it look at bit darker/meaner but cant afford the £1300, so what about chrome or carbon mirrors? Perhaps a carbon scoop or the big rear wing?
Will carbon look lost on the DS paintwork??
Any creative suggestions for a friday???
Also can I debadge it at the dealers????

The beauty of DS/DS is you've basically got a blank canvas. I'd be tempted to go for pure silver vipers or something like that. Chrome mirrors would look good too
Failing that, you could get a roof wrap done by Phil (MINI Pirate) to a colour you wanted, which would allow you to take it off if you fancied a change
I know it's an R53, but it might give you some idea
Before I lost the plot and got the 1 series I was saeriously considering an all DS factory works with the carbon diffuser scoop and mirrors....thought it would be very subtle.
You mentioned you liked the red, why not have best of both worlds and get the roof vinyled in red along with red mirrors? Would be different, and I think unique!!
i have the carbon mirrors on a red/black car, and from a distance they look no different from the black mirrors. Think all the exterior carbon bits are best appreciated close up.
