Not got any plans but would definitely be up for something. I'm still learning about the car. This concept of a sport button is still a little new. Definitely a big difference in responsiveness when that sport button is pressed. ![]() Also, the turbo charger delivery is very different to the supercharged minis. Just all very new and exciting at the moment. ![]() .

Chris... the Sport button's crazy ain't it ... Sport button + DSC\DTC switched off = even more madness.I can't imagine what it's like in Popey's with 268BHP! I just want some new tyres for mine now and then I'll be happy (for now )As Supa says, change the orange indicator bulbs if you can. I got some Silvertec bulbs from Halfords (other shops are available!) the other day. Came to about £30 for front, rear and side indicators. They look SO much better and are still bright and safe when used.

I can honestly say, with hand on heart, that this is a new league of car compared to the gen 1 JCWs. I've owned a gen 1 MCS, JCW and GP. Now the GP is still a superior car on the track but this new JCW is fantastic. Build quality is far improved, the ride has been transformed and running costs are much improved. I've been goosing it around with some motorway driving and am averaging 33.5mpg!!! ![]() Ok....acceleration is around the same as the Gen 1 JCW but the higher torque makes in gear times far better. Can't get over how much the ride has been improved....so much more compliant over bumps. The sport button is great as you can waft around in none sport mode and improve your mpg and then turn sport on and unleash hell!!! ![]() Gear box is also far improved....you can almost change gear with one finger!!! One thing i will say though is the new JCW is a little bit more of an animal when accelerating at low speeds. If the road surface is a little uneven it can torque steer and be a little scary. I think it just takes some getting used to and managing the throttle control. If you happy to spend the cash....i'd go for it.

That must be agony!!! I'd be counting the days, probably sleeping less and less as the days reduced. At least you'll get the JCW steering wheel as standard on yours. Was disappointed that they put the standard wheel in originally but at least they've changed that for new ones. Enjoy Marcus!! It's a great car and i can't believe i'm obtaining 33.5mpg, and that is mainly round town driving!!!
