New Clubman JCW on order! Have I chosen the right colour? Hi everyone, I've just joined this forum having just yesterday ordered a brand new Mini Clubman JCW which should arrive at the beginning of 2011 hopefully. However I am still slightly unsure if I have got the colour combo right and would welcome any feedback. Also is it possible to spec the car without runflats? If so would I be given a space saver spare wheel? Where would it be kept? I'm very concerned about not having a spare as I've had 2 punctures in two years with my current car (new shape Fiesta Zetec S). The car I've ordered is in white with the black roof and spoiler, blacked out windows and black alloys. Do you reckon this is the best colour combo? If not, its not too late to change it. I've chosen the sunroof, and the black full leather lounge interior with the red piping to match the standard red detailing inside on the gear nob etc. I've also chosen the centre arm rest, basic blue tooth, the extended interior lighting pack and the chrome line interior. Have I missed an option that you think is essential? Any advise welcomed!! Cheers, James

I had a Pepper White & black JCW hatch a few years ago - so I'm certainly not adverse to the combination. ![]() That said, if I was speccing another JCW now, especially a Clubby (considering I currently have a Chili Red JCW hatch), I'd either go: Midnight Black/black - and black wheels, proper stealthy! Laser Blue/black - looks great on the hatch but rarely seen on the Clubby. I could also be tempted by Hot chocolate/black or BRG/black. ![]() At the end of the car, it's your decision and you should go with what you like the best. There's certainly nothing wrong with PW/B though, I think I just like to have a change when I swap cars.

Thanks for your advice guys, I spent all day yesterday researching all the different colour combinations and have still come back to the Pepper white and black, but when I went into pay my deposit today I did make a couple of changes. There was a white clubman cooper S in the showroom with black wheels and it had the white roof and looked awesome! so I've ordered mine with the white roof, but with the two black bonnet stripes, and the black sunroof and blacked out windows, and they are going to change the white mirrors for black as well. I CAN'T WAIT it should look awesome!! I live the grey background on the speedo and rev counter on the JCW as apposed to the white on all the other models. They also have the charcoal lounge/red piping combo and the Chrome interior pack in the JCW convertible in the showroom (all black with black wheels - it looks awesome) which is the interior I'm going for and its looks just right I reckon. I've only actually driven the Cooper S clubman so I can't wait to drive this when it finally arrives. I did seriously consider the stealth look - all black everywhere, and maybe if I was 10 or 20 years younger I would have, but thought I might look a bit like I was trying too hard at my age (43) if I got that! I'd love to see pics of your cars guys
