Thumbs down Improve my JCW! Give me some ideas!

Hi guys!

Honestly, I canīt stand it anymore that my JCW looks like a Cooper S with JCW package! What is wrong with MINI. I mean look at the BMW 1 series M. Does it look like a 135 with m package? Don't think so..

I'm really thinking about some changes for my little rocket..

what would you change to seperate the JCW from the Cooper S?

The R56 JCW looks plenty different enough from the standard Cooper S... if you don't like it, why did you buy it?

Comparing the 135i M Sport and the 1M isn't a valid point either, since there's Ģ10k between them... not to mention the 1M is a completely different model (not just a tuned 135i, which is what the JCW is to the Cooper S at the end of the day).

If you want something "shouty", look at the first generation JCW GP... if you want an R56 JCW which sets itself apart from from the Cooper S, look at the WC50, or spec a red roof or something...

Couldn't agree more, the 1m is a limited edition small number run/final swan-song for the current shape, a JCW is mass produced car that is, as minicore said is in essence a tuned cooperS.....

if i was you id put on the front and rear challenge splitter, the rear spoiler and add lots and lots of carbon fibre!.... failing that look at hamman or AC for a different body kit.?

It's so easy to make an S look like a Works that most of us haven't bothered, your Works will be recognisable for what it is
Have you considered black out, different wheels, etc (the list is endless)

Don't get me wrong, i love my Works. It drives and sounds fantastic! I just wanted to let out my "frustration" about its look. I just would prefer it to have unique JCW parts. Wheels, bodykits, interior... the hamman looks brilliant btw!!

If you added the 'unique' works stuff it would still look like all the rest though

Lowered on coilovers + some lighter aftermarket alloys + a remap from someone like Evolve.

This is my fave R56, Rota grid wheels, lowered on meister R coilovers, quite a few more mods & tuned to almost 270bhp

Im druling at that image!
I kinow what you mean MyJCW, a guy at work has a cooper s with the sport pack in the same colour as mine and apart from the badges no one would know it had different exhaust and brakes thus making it a true JCW.
However I see 2 sport packed cooper s's on the way to work and I know they are not JCW's and they probably know mine is and that makes me feel good!
