Have taken a lot of the comments on board and here is the results, so far. Hope you approve. Not everyone likes chrome inside , I thought the contrast with the outside makes it acceptable.

Interesting to note, I see your reverse sensors have black centres, I have them on my JCW which is pepper white and the complete sensor unit is car body colour so doesnt stand out so much?

Superb looking now , definitely much better without all the stripes. Personally I would not go for black wheels but your car looks stunning.

Hi
I've just replaced my rear lights with dark ones from "New Mini Stuff" However, everytime I start the car a warning light ( a bulb with an ! mark) comes up. It soon goes after a few seconds. All exterior lights work OK. Is this something to worry about or is it just because the lights are not genuine BMW. Your help please because I'm worried. Thanks

Looks like its initially sensing a bulb thats not like the original fitment, eg now LED instead of conventional bulb, and the system is sensing a lower operating current and think the bulb has blown or not working correctly?

I wouldnt think they will do any harm, they are working now as you say, the warning light is obviously being fooled for a moment, You can get around that by putting in a resistor in the feed so the voltage detected by the computer reads as a normal bulb.
Someone here will advise on that no doubt.

Huge improvement from the beginning, definitely worth getting rid of all the stripes and decals.
