should i get a jcw?

Hey guys and girls!

I'm looking very seriously at getting a jcw but i have a few questions I was hoping you could answer before i take the plunge!

I used to have an 05 cooper which I loved! but I swapped out to something more practical.. a 120D m-sport, which has been a fantastic car! i've had eibach coilovers fitted and a map with a milltek cat-back. I get a steady 48mpg average and it swallows all my luggage up perfectly and it feels quite an adult car.

But I do have an itch now its the old shape for something different... and though it is a great car it lacks 'something' I cant put my finger on it, the cooper was just so fun, it felt like driving was an adventure. But the BMW is just so capable that it seems a bit sedate possibly?

Anyway - I do about 334 miles a week commuting up and down the A1 at the week so lets say about 17,500 miles a year with possibly a few trips around the country. As said I get 48mpg in the BMW.

So my first questions are:
- with the mostly A-road driving I do will I likely see the circa 40mpg claimed? (I will almost definitely have a evolve remap on the vehicle)
- Are the journeys comfortable, I remember the seats/position in my old cooper giving me terrible back ache

Secondly, I'm pretty active with snowboarding and travelling etc. so I will definetly be purchasing the roof box.

- can the mini actually lug a load? say two 23kg suitcases over the back seats and a snowboard bag on top?? For example could it handle a camping trip?

Obviously the recaro seats look amazing, but how comfortable/adjustable are they? do they negatively effect resale value? and do they look somewhat boy racer ish for a dd?

I tend to keep my cars quite a long time, something like 4/5 years. So is there a new model on the horizon? and how is the resale market. For example my BMW has 70k on the clock it's an 07 and I should get about 11k from the stealers for it.

Also I have a few mods in mind.
Bilstein B14 coilovers
Evolve Remap
Quife dif
Eibach arbs

Is there anything else the mini desperately needs?

Lastly, will I feel a bit 'boy racer' in the jcw after the intial buzz has worn off?

Oh and i'll be at mini united 2012 - went to 09 in silverstone an it was great so I'll be travelling down in my gf's silver drop top 54 reg (she's only done 20,000 miles! haha!) see you there!

Oh! and one last thing... is the sunroof a nice option to have (on a black roof) or does is spoil the whole aesthetic of the car for no real added benefit?)

Thanks in advance!
