Scotland Factory JCW: Buying Advice

Hi folks,

Just wondering if you could answer a few quick questions:

I'm looking to buy an 09 JCW with 22,500k on the clock,

It has full service history with the TLC pack,

Just wondering if there's anything I need to look out for with this age/mileage of JCW.

Thanks,
Andy

Check the rear quarter. In front of the rear wheels. Because they flare out so much they really catch stones and debris. So there might be some serious stone chips, or worse, rust. I had this on mine and it was only 18 months old.
Mechanically I can't comment.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

I'm sure you will love it. We traded up from a 2007 MCS to a 2011 FJCW. Power is good but above all, it's a nice looking car and desirable. Enjoy. And the colour is...?

its midnight black, full leather, quite a few extras. cant wait really :-) my last one was grey with the black roof and i loved the colour combo but looks quite nice in the black this one too. notice much difference in fuel economy between the two? i had the 1st gen supercharged mcs previously so looking forward to driving the turbo one. its 400 miles away so wont get to test drive it but seen plenty pictures and read a lot of reviews

What's fuel economy? You don't buy FJCW to worry about the miles per gallon, just the smiles per gallon!

I get better MPG out of my 2011 JCW than my 2008 Cooper s mate. I have a midnight black JCW love the colour but shows all the marks have to be very carefull when washing cleaning as the paintwork will be covered in scratches before you know it. Just a tip dont wash it with a sponge
