New JCW owner question..

I wonder if anyone could help me on this one. I'm buying a 2010 Mini JCW and have done a VIN check to confirm if it is genuine factory JCW. The result (as below) does confirm JCW but under model described as 'Coop.S JCW'. Now does this mean it is a factory Works or does it mean it is a Cooper S with the works kit?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Chassis number TL08815
Vehicle code MF92
Series R56
Model Coop.S JCW
Body type coupe
Catalog model ECE
Production date 2009 / 10
Engine N14
Transmission Unknown
Steering Right
Catalyzer YES

The early Cooper S JCWs were in fact JCW ed "S"s, the later JCWs were not "S"s at all and had 210bhp as opposed to 190 that the "S" JCW had. They dropped the Coop[er S from the back and changed the indicator pods as well as the cylinder head and pistons. is offline
