Century MINI Rally March 2nd Greenville, SC - MINI Cooper Forum

The sales staff at Century MINI have asked me to post the following annoucement.

Century MINI in Greenville, SC is hosting a MINI Rally on Sunday March 2nd.

The Rally is open to all MINI owners, regardless of where you purchased your MINI.

The Rally will start at 9:30AM with a light brunch at the Century MINI Showroom. The brunch will last until 11:00AM.
During the lunch, Century will be holding a drawing for
some giveways.

The drive will start at 11:00AM and last until 4:00PM. The drive will go into the mountains north of Greenville and will include a complimentary lunch provided by Century MINI. 2 MINI owners that live in the NC Mountains designed the scenic route.

The Rally will end back at Century MINI at 4:00PM

Century is limiting the number of MINIs to 60. To attend, just email Henk at Century MINI his email address is

If you would like to spend Saturday night in Greenville, the Wingate Inn has a group rate for MINI owners of $59.00 per night. Just mention the group name MINI when making your reservation. The Wingate Inn phone number is 864-281-1281

Talked to Henk today and he said they've got alot of people signed up already, but you couldn't tell for the action on this post.

We'll be there was well.

There has not been much going on with this post.

The good news is there were 56 MINIs signed up for the rally when I checked with Henk at Century on Tuesday.

The 56 must be from the 200 plus invitations mailed out. I guess most of those are people that do not post on MINI2. I will bring information to hand out about the various MINI sites.

Henk said there would be about 8 MINIs from the dealership (several employees’ own MINIs and dealership demos) and 60 some guests. Even with a couple of no shows this will be a large event.

Is there anyone from MINI2 that is planning on attending?

Would it be safe to assume that the Charlotte area MINI owners are not aware of the existence of the MINI2 site.In any case were going to attend.

mininc are you aware of any other MINI's coming from Charlotte? So far it seems like Deja Vu Flow Rally.

If any MINIs from the Charlotte area are planning on going to Greenville on Saturday, please join us for the ride down.
Peter and Janibird have mapped out a route from Charlotte to Greenville without using I85.

If you would like to join us we are leaving from Southpark area at 2:00PM on Saturday. We will meet at the upper parking deck in front of Belk's at Southpark Mall. We are going down and spending the night at the Wingate.

We are also planning a group dinner in Greenville Saturday night. Please post if interested.

Is anyone driving from Charlotte to Greenville on Sunday? I planning to hit my brothers over in India Trail Saturday night and drive to Greenville Sunday morning. Get me by PM or email (mrconana@mac.com) if you want to meet.

btw: just talked to hank. I think I'm car # 66 plus any dealer cars and it's over 70!!!

Hotelcalif and MiniTiger, glad to see that you will be at the Wingate.

It looks like we have about 16 people for dinner on Saturday night. I have counted 2 people from each of the following.

Henk and Linda have asked that we all meet at Century MINI at 6:00PM and leave about 6:30PM on Saturday evening. We are still working on a location.

If you would like to join us please post for the head count. All are welcome. The head count may change where we go.
