Offline | EURO 2003 Auto Festival Just wanted to post this, found out to late last and was unable to attend. This event is free to the public. The EURO Auto Festival is a 3-day Automotive Event featuring a Concours, Specialty Vendors, an internationally known Guest Speaker, an Autocross, Plant Tours and a Road Rally. The EURO 2003 Auto Festival will be held on 17-19 October 2003 at the BMW Zentrum Visitors Center adjacent to BMW Manufacturing Corporation's plant site between Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina USA. This will be the 8th Annual EURO Auto Festival. Entries are expected from throughout the United States, Canada and England. On display will be cars from England, France, Germany, Italy and Sweden. The EURO Auto Festival was established to promote appreciation for vintage, classic and antique European vehicles and to generate donations for the Disaster Relief Fund of the American Red Cross. http://www.euroautofestival.com/ |

| Loves the Fuzzy One | I went last year, it was lots of fun. Recommendations: Skip the Friday night buffet, the people attending that one are not friendly. The food is bad at the Saturday banquet, but the guest speaker can possibly make up for that. The auto show and BMW tour are both amazing, not to be missed. ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | Euro 2003 I agree with ApriWhine about last years car show and plant tour they were great. We also did a MINI Mountain Hop on Friday led by Spindoc. It was a drive in the NC Mountains after the morning plant tour. The Embassy Suites was booked by the time I had decided to go last year. Many of us stayed at the Wingate Inn in Greenville. I think we had 8 or 9 MINIs there. I have already called and booked my room at the Wingate. If anyone else is interested they have reserved a block of rooms for $59.00 per night for Oct 16th, 17th and 18th. The price includes breakfast every morning and appetizers and drinks on Thursday night. The rate is good for 1 night or all 3 nights. Just mention EURO to get the group rate. Maybe someone will lead us on another drive through the NC Mountains on Friday the 17th, like Smokey and LJ, hint, hint. It would be fun to have all the MINIs in one place. The number for the Wingate is 864-281-1281 Wingate Inn |
