Offline | Spam and Carolina Mini Club I have been recieving come-ons for all kinds of bizzaro products and services with the Carolina Mini Club logo at the bottom of the page. Has anyone else? I remeber signing up for the Carolina Mini Club a few months ago as someone who wanted to be kept posted when it held meetings and events. I've never received anything legitimate, Only this crappy Spam! What is up with that? Phil Whoa Jesse! |

Offline | BeauCoop -- I’m sorry to hear that you’re getting spam from the Carolina Mini Club. However, there is another MINI club forming for North and South Carolina. The Mini Motoring Club of the Carolinas (M2C2) has elected officers, passed bylaws and is in the process of incorporating. I hope we’ll have a web site up and running soon. So far, we have regional chapters in the Asheville, Charleston, Charlotte, Columbia and Winston-Salem/Raleigh areas. It’s taking some time to get this club going as we’re trying to do things right; our goal is to get MINI owners (and enthusiasts) together to enjoy our cars and one another’s company, not to sell you stuff. One of our first events is the MINI driving school at Lowe’s in September. Though that event is full, it shows the sort of thing we’re trying to do. I’ll not ask for your e-mail address: Just keep checking this board for an announcement about the M2C2 web site. I hope you’ll not let your experience with one club color your attitude toward others. I look forward to meeting you at a M2C2 event. LJ in NC |

Offline | Re: Spam and Carolina Mini Club Phil, I used to get everyone twice. I finally ask to be removed from the mail list, by the way I never provided my address in the first place and don't know how I got signed up. But I'm off now. ![]() |

Offline | Hi Smokey4: For some reason the link is not working. The Mini is due in to Charleston on August 1 and Flow says I should have it in my hands by the 11th. So yes, I'll be ready for the 23rd. I cannot wait!!!! Just let me know the specifics and hopefully I'll be there. I've got Z3 Homecoming the week after that, but my calendar looks clear that weekend. Cheers, Debi |

Offline | Oh--Ok this one. Thanks sooo much for posting. I remember this one from a while back. Well worth the time and price from what I've seen in the past. Hopefully they'll do it again--maybe at the performance center--wouldn't that be great!!! Cheers, |
