Recently took delivery of a Cooper S and am interested in joining a Mini club located within striking distance of Asheville, North Carolina.

Hello Peter,

We might be neighbors!! (I'm in the Hills and you're in the Mountains of WNC). We have a very active chapter of m2c2 here in Asheville. PM me and we will try to get together sometime this week. I live out in Fairview, LJinNC is down south of Asheville, and cnhminics is out in Brevard so we should have you surrounded! LOL

If you plan on doing a drive on Sunday, count me in! I have to go get V 36 software up at Flow on Saturday, but don't have any sunday plans!

Hey Travis,

I think we are leaning towards doing our thing on Saturday, still waiting to hear from all the players.

Make sure you keep us updated on the results of the software upgrade, I don't think I've got the problems that this version is supposed to cure, but after being called "Pokey" after last Saturday's drive I might need to look into an upgrade of some sort.

I talked to Calvin and Lee Davis at FLOW on Monday about m2c2 and dropped off some post cards about the club while I was there; if you get a chance check them out and let me know what you think.

At least this time I didn't have to hear about lawn furniture bouncing around in the back!

Looking forward to meeting you this weekend. We are in the Brevard area, but our MINI stays at home most days as we use a different vehicle for work... probably why you don't see ours around town. After loosing the driver side mirror on our last vehicle twice while parked on Broad Street, I doubt you'll ever see us parked downtown!!!

Sorry for the delay. I wasn't sure about the weather and really hadn't heard much more about getting together. I just spoke with Smokey4 and we'll plan to get together for lunch at Iannucci's at 1981 Hendersonville Rd (Rt. 25) in South Asheville/Arden around 12:30pm. If you'd like to meet up in Brevard and drive up together, that would be great! We can meet in the Bi-Lo parking lot at noon. We'll be driving a Dark Silver/Black MINI. Let us know...
