Mid-Tennessee Mini's

I have had my Red/Red MCS for about a month now. I have only seen one other mini on the road, a yellow MCS. Where are all the Mid-Tn mini's? Let's plan a drive sometime, maybe a nice scenic drive in the rolling hills around here. So what do you people think? I know there must be others out there mine was the 107 sold by Mini of Nashville.

TN MINIs

I'm in Eastern TN, as far east as you can go, and have the ultimate roads for MINIing around. I'm one of the very few MINIs around too.

TN MINIs

Do you know a Scott G.? He's over there in Knoxville awaiting his MINI.
Just got back from a solo (bonding) trip up to Chicago and back, driving the back roads whenever possible. I now have 5555 (honest) miles on "Winston" and it's proven itself as a capable cross-country tourer.
I didn't see one other MINI on the road. It's like they don't exist out of the sun belf or something...

I know this thread is a bit old, but thought I'd reply since I haven't seen any events scheduled in the Tennesssee area. I live 100 miles west of Nashville and hope to pick my MCS up from MINI of Nashville later this month.

I'm game for something near Nashville. Anybody else? We could make it as simple as a cruise-in at an area restaurant or as elaborate as a scenic drive to a park followed by a picnic.

Howdy, I live in Nashville and drive an Indi blue/ white roof MCS with sports package... I think I saw one of you at the first autocross event sporting a red MCS. By the way any of you who are interested in amateur racing go to www.trscca.com for info on Middle Tennessee autocross racing. All the events this year are held at the Nashville Super Speedway.

It was me at the autocross. I hope you turn out for the next one it was a blast. We need to get more MCS's out there, maybe our own little class. Hopefully we will have sunshine instead of two days of rain however. Still I won my class and finished with 5th best time overall.

Were you at the AutoX at Nashville Motorsports Park on 2/16? I had my MCS all prepped for its first race, but was certain the rain would cancel everything. Had two friends coming with me who were also first-timers.

Hey all, I have a DS/W S and live in Nashville, work in Brentwood at the post office. Am going to the Deals Gap rally in May. Would love to meet up somewhere with other MINI's some sunday for a nice drive....

Remember to support MINI of Nashville, they've just switched over to a straight comission sales system and could use our buisness whenever possible. I try and stop by at least once a month and see how it's going, Josh Buckingham and Larry Barbro made my purchase very pleasant last July.

I trust this is the place!!Take I-40 West to exit #235, which is St. Rt. 840 West, towards Murfreesboro. Go 10 miles to exit #65, Nashville Superspeedway. Turn left at the top of the exit.

Green Cooper

I'd like to see you Tennesseeans (sp?) come up for a car show in Somerset KY in April. All the info is here -http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread/t-24428.html
I hope some of you will make it! Let me know if you plan to come.
I just drove through Nashville yesterday, saw a black Mini, it was the only one I'd seen in a week and a half on the road, driving to Little Rock, Tulsa, and back home.

I think I've seen you, do you go to the Brentwood Post Office often? I work there and have seen a DS MCS come in a couple times, flashed lights to you once as you were turning right onto church street - assuming that's you.

I usually have my DS/W MCS parked down in the back parking lot of the post office to protect it from prying eyes.

Probably me. I've got a single, center, silver racing stripe from CooperFlags. Now running stock 15" 7-Holes due to a "little" run-in with a curb or two in B'ham.
I plan to come out for the AutoX this month. Anything I need to do other than register when I get there?

Big M and I would love to see you at the Nashville autocross! He's competed three times in a row in his red/red MCS and I've been there twice. There were three MSCs there on 03/09; two of us on 03.23.

As for registration, get there early! I'd suggest right at 9am in order to give you time to walk the track an extra time. You'll see a booth as you pull into the Nashville Speedway. Stop there to sign a waiver and get an armband (signifying that you've signed the waiver). Park in the lot close to the grandstands then walk down to the (green?) bus beside the course. The registration is in the bus. Remind 'em that its your first time and you'll get in for $15. You'll need to show a valid driver's license then fill out a registration card. You'll be assigned a number to use the rest of the year. I suggest bringing something to write on and a thick magic marker as they've quit using shoe polish to write numbers on your car.

See you there!

Weird - thought I replied the other day. That may have been me, although I've seen at least one other DS/DS in the Franklin/Brentwood area.
I plan to be at the TRSCCA Solo2 4/13. May try it out.

AutoX

Renaissance,
Sorry I missed it again. Guess I'm afraid of getting hooked. I'm still running some stock 15" 7 holes until I can get replacements for my damaged 16's. I'm a little worried about the 15" Continentals smoking, squealing, and generally self destructing. Guess I'll just run lots of extra air.

When's the next one? I thought they were only the 2nd Sunday each month, but I noticed you guys were there twice, last month.
