None so far...I've recently become a member of the South Texas Mini Club - a yahoo group. Since I don't have my baby just yet - NEXT WEEK - I haven't participated in any of the outings, and they do have a fair amount ranging from Austin to San Antonio!

I've been toying with the idea of just starting one, but I don't have any really cool car connections, and ideally I would like to have instructors come in to teach maneuvers, etc. And of course the time constraints life/work has placed upon me, so my involvement might be sporadic - So I'm hesitant.

There sure are a LOT of Minis in this town though - if we just got together surely someone would have connections AND be able to help head up things...we shall see.

You could just go ahead and start a Yahoo group. People with connections will come in. Our local group rarely does anything but meet for coffee, but we do it with enthusiasm. No one has enough time to plan a drive right now.

hello i test drove my mini today and totally fell in love. i currently own an acura rsx 5spd which i am hoping to replace with a mini cooper s with the jcw package in black. i'm in albuquerque, nm- hopefully i'm not alone!

Lubbock Texas

Checking in from Lubbock, Texas. Delivery Date: July 25th. I haven't seen anyone else on the site listed from here but I've seen at least three other Mini's around town. Today I saw my first covertible in lubbock - orange.
