I know if you live in Texas you have seen me pushing this Track Day. Just in case you do not know I will explian. First of all it will be on 01-04-2004. That is a Sunday so most of us will not have to take a day off from work. I will have a instructor there the first hour so he can teach you about track driving. SCCA drivers will be there also to take you around the track in your car, to teach you the best lines. I know some of you are scared to beat up your MINIs. You will be on a REAL track you dont have to worry about hitting a animal, a person, spinning out and hitting a tree, but most of all NO cops will give you a ticket. Yes, other people will be on the track with you. But not close enough to you that you will touch bumpers. There is no passing other then on the straight away. You will learn the limits of youself and your MINI. This will be a really fun and safe event. A great time will be had by all. Terry Sayther Auto will be there to let you in on what is new from Alta Performance. Matt with Cooper Flags will also be there to help you make your MINI stand out in a croud. Remember this event will only cost you $175.oo for the All MINI Track Day. Ohh and Texas World Speedway says we have to have a helmet on our heads while we are on the track.
