An architect in Albuquerque, Jon Anderson, is working on the design of the Sandia MINI dealership.

It should be open in 8 months or so. Here's a rendering from his website, jonandersonarchitect.com.

Sandia MINI's ground is broken and the foundation is there--should be open in Oct. and New Mexicans will have their own! Jimbo

nice. similar to Jackie Cooper MINI in OK City. open, glassy, cube-ish. excellent for presentation purposes-- like the extension!

Hey all, Sandia is almost OFFICIAL! They are signing the dealership papers and the building is in the final stages. Sounds like it will all be together and really going by the first full week in December. The two Motoring Advisors start next week and get to be broken in. What a fun job to have...fondling MINIs all day and talking to people who want to fondle them too! Fondle the MINIs that is!!

Congrats and thanks to Kenny at the BMW dealership. He's done a great job as interim MA!

Just bought Mini S from NM dealer, good transaction. Decided on a Wed I wanted one and called and picked it up the following Sat. In and out in 10-15min. Good service, would recomend. Trailered it home to Az.

Hey kids,

We out here in New England have a pal from Maine who is an owner and a terrific fellow. He's going to visit his sister in Santa Fe for a month. So far, the best he has seen for a month's rental is a Grand Am or a Mustang soft top. Any idea where he could rent something more fun? He's already missing his MINI.
