Thumbs up Race day at Buttonwillow Raceway

I have been to Buttonwillow Raceway quite a few times and they are having their own Performance Driving Clinic May 11. There are instructors that will take you through a short ground school session focusing on safety & performance driving techniques. It is a great time, the track is wide open, no guard walls that you can drive into, and plenty of room to spin(which you will eventually). Go to their site at www.buttonwillowraceway.com the entry fee is $175 for a whole day of racing, thats over 5 hours of track time. And on the registration form if you put "I-Club" as a group name on the top of the registration form you get in for only $155. If you still have questions after checking out the track's web page you can e-mail me at paulbelknap@hotmail.com

See you guys there

I concur. I was at the track day Dec. 21st. I was one of 2 MINI's there. The instructors were fighting over who got to drive my car. There must have been a M coupe club there, because a lot of them were on the track. They were suprised that they couldn't catch me. Only bad part was getting 8 mpg, that sliding off into the mud.

DS\W 'S' cold weather pkg, Auto A\C, MFSW, 17" white wheels, fog lamps and DSC. Picked up 7/6/02. Added Works package 9/30/03
