| MINI2 Newbie | I am 21, I just put on a custom fabracated magna flow system on my MCS. After tearing through some canyons with my subaru buddies I am planing to get a new break system asap, just a bit too spongy for me. Thats all I have planed for now. -Paul -Don't take life too seriously, you might not make it out alive |

Offline | Hey Zerocool, How does the Mini compare with the WRXs and Imprezas you most likely encounter up in the canyons? Tried drifting the MCS yet? If so, how are you managing it? Weightshifting or E-Brake method? -Shenmue |

| MINI2 Newbie | wrx had alot more power in the corners, but the mini can take them alot faster. stock for stock the MCS ownes the WRX in handling, you would have to buy alot of suspention parts to make a wrx handle even somewhat like a mini. but power wise the wrx had alot of it, the turbo lag for me was pretty bad, the MCS has such a smother power band, and the transmition is 100x's better then a wrx. but i still love subarus. havent tried to drift it yet....just give me a few weeks, i just got over the break in period so now the fun begins. i'll be setting up a subaru/mini canyon run for a sunday in the near future. -Paul -Don't take life too seriously, you might not make it out alive |

Offline | 41 Although by the time I get the MCS in June I'll be a month away from 42. How the hell did that happen?!!! I'm sure I'll be interested in putting some mods on the car--exhaust, shitft knob, maybe air intake--but right now I'm much more interested in just getting my hot little hands on it. Cheers, Craig :![]() |

Offline | I'm 34. Bought a WRX while I waited for the MINI. Drove the WRX for 13,000 miles and have 11,000 on the MINI. The MCS does handle really great. But front drive makes it harder to power out of corners real well. It may be lack of power or the run-flat tires being not great. love the look of the MINI inside and out so much better. I also like the steady power buildup. WRX is much more Jekyl/Hyde type of car. Suspension on WRX is more comfort oriented...I do miss that car quite a bit, especially the power. I had a M Roadster before that...weird how I'm going down in horsepower lately. No mods planned right now for MCS. |
