Offline | Front Licence Plates Bought a 2002 MCS from Scottsdale MINI at the weekend and I love it! It will be a while before I can register it here in CA but I have a question about licence plates. I believe that you must have a front licence plate to be legal in CA. However, my MINI came with a 'fake' front plate in the English style. I.e. it is long and thin rather than the squareish size we need to have. Amusingly it has "BMW MINI" on the plate as well as the GB and EuroStar logo - looks identical to new British licence plates. Anyway, what do people do in this situation? Rip it off and bolt a square one onto it? Seems a shame but if I must, I must.... Paul |
