Tomorrow the BMWCCA LA chapter is hosting a tour of the BMW VPC/VDC up in Oxnard.
Any CCA member was able to sign up. I think there was a limit of 200 or 300 people.

Will get to see how all BMW products are processed after getting to port: BMW cars (Z8, 740, New 5's) also all MINI's, and Rolls Royce!!!

I will take pictures and post...

Here is a picture of a MINI Cooper S that had lots of roof dmage during shipping.
They removed the roof and put a new one on and spot welded it.

They said this car would go out as employee lease and then go to auction....Forget about this showing up in a Carfax report!!!

I got there late so had to park across the street.
I have CR/B with stripes.

I was looking for caravan info for the event but found nothing.

It was nice to see that facility again with some MINI's there.

I had gone a few years ago but they had not received any MINI's yet.

I love the dark dash...wonder if I can retrofit???

It's a MCS with heavy roof damage. So they were replacing the roof.

Before going to dealer. It looked so good all polished up!
I hate dealing with black paint but this car looked so awsome!!!

This is the final step before they put the MSRP sticker on the window and put the car on a truck.

It had the cool checkered mirror covers!!!

It looked like many people had tried to peel off the roof checkers so the edges looked real bad..Too bad.

But this is one bad looking Cooper!

The body kit and checkers all around looked great...

I think this car made my girlfriend get the idea to get me rally lights for valentines day!!!

AH ic... cuz there was a CR parked next to me. i think there was only 2 MINIs in the VC parking lot.

I saw the two MINI's in the lot while leaving.

I saw a Works red one back in the VPC outside by the cosmoline car wash area.

The VPC worker opened the hood. It was funny listening to all the misinformation as people talked about the power of the car. The VPC worker said it pushed the power up to about 210 horsepower....
