Hi SoCal MINI owners,

Let's get organized and drive! Please post your weekly, monthly, or whenever drives in this thread. This way we can all meet up and have some fun on our San Diego back country roads.

Name: Julian Fun Drive
When: Every Saturday at 9:00 AM
Starting Point: Dave and Busters
Description of drive: Come join the fun in the SD back country roads like 78, Wynola "Julian Bypass", Old Julian, and Lake Henshaw loops.

Whoever is the organizer of the run can simply edit their post to inform us if the run is going to run or not. People can private message the organizer and he/she can add the attendees to the post so that other members can get an idea of how many people are attending.

West Coast MINIs, an informal, San Diego County-based MINI club is having a run this Saturday morning, April 16th. North County, Couser Canyon Rd, etc...

Meet at the HomeTown Buffet in San Marcos @ 8:30 am for breakfast, then we're off.

10th ANNUAL SAN DIEGO ROLLING BRITISH CAR DAY - Details

We’ll be meeting at
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts at 4180 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
(From the 52 Freeway—between the 805 Freeway and Interstate 5, take the Genesee off-ramp.
Go 1.1 miles South on Genesee. Turn Right on Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
Proceed ½ mile, immediately past the Thrifty gas station, in the Clairemont Town Square.
We’ll park in the large lot behind Krispy Kreme and the Outback Steakhouse.
Bring yourself a thermos of coffee or tea or ???, and we’ll provide some doughnuts!!)

We’ll meet no later than 10:00

I'll be driving my Frogeye for this one.

200+ cars showed up at the British Car Day. Met Frogeye on the West Coast MINI run, then met his frogeye on Sunday. Great time had by all--and it was great to meet you, F.

San Diego people, you have a couple of great options this weekend:

West Coast MINIs are doing a fun run Saturday. May 21: East/North County. Meeting in front of Edwards Cinema on Hwy 94 in Rancho San Diego. I think they're meeting at 8:30

So Cal MINI Maniacs are doing a separate run this Saturday, May 21. Meeting at the park & ride at I-15 and Hwy 76 in Fallbrook. 9:00 am meetup, 9:30 departure: Mt Palomar/Mesa Grande/Julian/Lake Cuyamaca/Harbison Canyon/Hwy 78 to 76, via Escondido & Couser Canyon.
