Red Cooper strut top mount problems

hi guys and gals

can anyone help me in telling what i should do next.

i brought 35mm lowering springs for my 02 plate mini one which i have had fitted (looks wicked) but i have a problem when steering at low speeds you can here a creeking noise and with the bonnet up and steering the car left to right you can see the top mount moving back and for and i'm guessing this is the noise. how can i stop this from happening? if i put uprated top mounts on it will this stop from happening? who can i buy these off? how much?
i've had lowered golfs 2 in fact one at60mm lower and one at 30 and this has never happened before so abit confused if anyone has had this problem and know's how to sort it that would be great

By the description of your problem, it seems someone forgot to tighten the nuts holding the top mount to the body. Rather simple fix......

Tell me again what exactly you are seeing......either the three nuts are loose in which case THEY would move too (sideways) if just the center is moving (i.e. the top of the shock, or the shaft itself) SIDEWAYS, your mount if fecked and you need to change it. If the top of the shock or shaft is moving up and down, then more than likely the top nut on the shaft is loose and to tighten it you will need a power tool. Keep talking, we'll sort it out.....
