Hey guys is this a good deal from ebay? It is a generic brand rear strut tower bar. It is only $29.000 with $17.000 shipping is it worth it? Will it make any difference in the way the car feels? Or should I get a name brand one?

I bought one of these recently, and fitted it at the same time as a JCW front strut brace, and I found that the combination makes the car handle a little 'flatter' through the bends, and feels more controlled over the bumpy twisty roads around here.And for some reason the traction control seems to cut in later (if I have not already turned it off

) I think the rear would probably be of little benefit by itself, and it has the disadvantages of cutting luggage space neatly in half (don't care ), and making the back of the rear seat slightly more upright (Don't seem to bother my dogs, tho ). On the other hand, it is cheap, looks okay, is light, and can' t really do any harm.

I actually bought mine thru an Australian connection (who is a MINI2er), but the product appears identical, and the sellers rating seems pretty good, but you really never know with ebay - even though my experience has been mostly good....

Why on earth would it not be and even if it was not - how would one find out??
Have there ever been different configuration of rear seats on the MINI???
