Offline | m7 srp's Has anyone here tried installing the new m7 strut reinforcement plates? I am having a fitment issue and I'm wondering if anyone else has tried to install theirs and found the relief groove on the underside of the plate to be about 3-4 mm disposed from a perfect fit. 2005 DS/B MCS |

Offline | I just put a pair on yesterday. The center of the groove on the plate does seem 1-2 mm outboard from the center of the ridge on the tower, but they don't touch or pinch. Mine's perfect enough, and no mushrooming despite Pennsylvania roads. Did your towers mushroom or were they flat as new? |

Offline | No mushrooming. I tried fitting the plates to two minis and the groove is just too far off to fit without pinching. I'm going to just grind a bit more material off until they fit. 2005 DS/B MCS |
