Offline | Sometimes the rear springs are lower than the fronts...on the MINI it helps get rid of the "rake" and make the car flatter. Not sure about the Espelir ones though - contact them and see ![]() ![]() |

Offline | I've got Eibachs and my back end seems to be lower than the front - can only tell this by looking behind rather than looking side on and it slanting down to the back - maybe it just appears to be lower at the back. Get your spirit level out, lol ![]() |

Offline | my car is lowered on eibachs too... here it is: ![]() im not so sure is it lower in the back although it says it is.... the vernier caliper measurement for wheelgap suggested the same thing.... technically if you have lower in the rear, it helps by shifting weight closer to the middle of the car...... that is... it is mere theory 03 Dark Silver MCS w/ White roof |

Offline | You will probably find it bouncier, as the springs are no longer "matched" to the dampers. But, having lowered the centre of gravity, you should find the handling tighter, a bit less bodyroll, more grip, and a bit stiffer etc. ![]() |

| polizei -NAM and Focaljet | If you want the handling, you have to give up something! The SS+ is a soft ride for me, but then again I'm only 16 so I have a young body (tho I feel 30). I love feeling the road, and cannot wait until I get some springs! I was thinking the Eibachs or M7's, maybe the ALTA's, or H&R's.....I got some time to think though! The stiffer suspension gives you the ability to take turns better/faster. But like you said, you can feel everything. Cadillac's SUCK at handling (mainly because they weight a ton tho) but their suspension is very soft, and thus a better "comfort" ride feeling. If the MINI came with soft suspension then the handling of the MINI would be greatly reduced, but the "comfort" ride would be much better. -Cody "Gizmo" - 03' IB/B MCS! |

Offline | i put mine on with koni yellow shocks... so im not too sure what it feels like with eibachs alone... all i know is that even if the car is bouncy over rough roads.... it is controlled.... somewhat 03 Dark Silver MCS w/ White roof |

Offline | My is substantially lower at the back. The tires sit right on the edge of the flare when I am running 17s. However, my MINI has been corner weighted for competition to bring the weight distribution as close as possible to 50:50 front to rear. Looks a little strange, but I can't look at the outside when I am driving Some of the well developed suspension kits around probably lower the rear for this reason, but simply not as extreme as a race set up. |
