Jcw Suspension Or Springs And Sway Bar

Looking to improve ride and handling on my JCW S,what do people recommend.?
JCW suspension £365 includes new dampers and 10mm lowered springs, probably lots of development and testing done to perfect this set up. Or
lowered springs by Eibach,h-sport,M7 etc and a fatter rear sway bar 19mm or 22mm.Cost approx the same.
All opinions welcome.
Car just for road use at present.Currently fitted with 18" JCW alloys and 215/35 Avon zz3(dont like, too twitchy) but just bought some 16" x-lites fitted with 205/50 non runflats which i hope will improve ride and stability/handling.

I have Eibachs on my JCW. Their great on track, but too low for serious road use - one of the reasons I know longer go to many Mini2 runs. Stick to the JCW option. Although I think you'll find it more expensive than you have listed.

Yeah they are about £800 fitted. Unless you can fit them yourself?

Can you buy just the JCW dampers and springs? I've already got eibach front and rear antiroll bars that's all, and quite fancy the JCW setup (heard it's more comfortable than std, but much better in the corners).

On the JCW price list it has these, if this helps...

31 33 6 768 414 JCW Front Spring - Soft
31 33 6 768 415 JCW Front Spring - Medium
31 33 6 768 416 JCW Front Spring - Hard
31 53 6 768 417 JCW Rear Spring - Soft
31 53 6 768 418 JCW Rear Spring - Medium
31 53 6 768 419 JCW Rear Spring - Hard

£65 each (inc VAT)

Im guessing where it says 'soft', 'medium'' etc, it relates to the tightness of the coil. A hard spring would be a tighter spring than the soft version? the hard spring giving a more sporty ride, and the soft providing more comfort

The springs, like the stock MINI springs, come in different rates based on the options of the car. The heavier the car, the stiffer the spring.
