Then guys answer me this. I have a 2003 MCS with 18" KAHN RSV alloys ok? My suspension is the stantard MCS. If i cannot afford coilovers what do you reccomend then as alternative. I mean what springs do you reccommend? They told me Eibach look silly cause the back is lower than the front. Is this true and if yes do you have any other reccomendations?

Any other drivers with other springs brand on? Thanks in advance

save up for the coilovers!! lowering springs are at best a compromise, and in the longer term you will save money because you first buy lowering springs and fitting and then have to remove the springs/shocks when shocks wear out and replace, might as well just get coilovers ,some have a lifetime warranty

What's your goal? Low for looks? Autocross / track performance and who cares about looks? Do you need at least a little ground clearance for bad roads / winter driving?

Everyone says that shocks wear quicker with lowering springs fitted. Based on the fact that my Cooper is a month old and I have a set of new Eibachs waiting to be fitted What sort of lifespan are we talking then? Oh and i do about 20k miles a year. Some educated guesses in miles or years would be appreciated.

Hey guys. I am not doing any track days or anything. My S its just my daily driver to work and all i do is to give it a little push on high gears that means 3-4-5-6 on the high way. I never drag race or street race with it. So i guess i am more into looks than perfromance.

How many mm does the Eibachs and KW lowers the car?
