hi,
interested in getting a strutbrace for my mini cooper (non s). partially because i heard they help in prevent the so called "mushrooming"? is there any truth to this?
i have also read that some strut braces dont fit the normal cooper? is this true?
for example would the jcw strut brace fit the cooper?
any other suggestions on other strut braces would be appreciated.

I heard it is the battery cover which is the main culprit there, it sticks up too far and gets in the way of normal braces. Sparco do one, check Welcome To Lohen.co.uk - New Mini Tuning and Performance Specialists to see what I mean.

Few strut braces really cover all the angles of flex, other than the GTT areabox strut brace (see the threads, or my sig pic for an idea).

There are thin and articulated struts out there, and for the educated, these do near to nothing.
