Question Pi Springs

Anyone got any experience of Pi springs? Good or bad? They've got a set for the MINI that lowers 35/40mm and wanted to know if, in general, their springs were any good.

i used PI springs to lower my old car and they are hard as nails!! it looks good but in the end it drove me up the wall!!

theyre a cheap alternative and do the job (if a little uncomfortably) but the difference in price isnt worth all the rattles that are likely to occur as a result of your car being shaken to bits!!

Hold on, ive got a plan!!

Rattling is a problem with my car anyway

I'm not sure if using Pi springs will worsen the handling of my car, it's on SS+ at the moment. May look at alternative springs, AC Schnitzer if they're out

All that is different with SS+ is the anti roll bars. On the PI spring front don`t do it as Laner said they are hard as nails they will drive you up the wall very quickly. Spend the extra and buy eibach springs they are much better due to their progressive wind.

These Pi springs aren't actually cheap, although finding where to get the eibach jobbies from isn't easy

Try Deamon Tweaks. There also pretty good for fitting as well. A mate at work has had is Astra lowered by them on KONI adjustables and they did a good job. They also lowered my mates moms CRX with eibach springs and it rides like a car on normal spring but they tighten up when you push it hard.
