Hi. I'm having a bit of trouble getting lowering springs to fit.

Its a March '02 mini one n all the kits i've had don't fit.

The front springs on my car are the same diameter at the top as they are at the bottom but all the kits i've tried are smaller at the top & wont fit into the strut top mount.

I'm really struggling... Can anyone help????

When ordering springs you should take care they fit 2002 and beginning 2003 Mini's.
At the start of 2003 there was a update on the springs where the top has gotten bigger as you describe.
Al bigger spring manufacturers have the 2002 springs. I had Eibach springs which were small at the bottom and top and they did'nt fit my april 2003 Mini as this one has the updated springs.

Ive just came across the same problem and have had to buy a new set of springs hopefully they will fit now!

How do you know which ones to get then? I´m shooting for H&R´s or Eibach. My Mini is a 06/2007 Cooper S.

i have the same problem i bought a set for my 2003 cooper. and i checked everything with the supplier and they siad they fit 2003 and before. but when i tried to get them fitted they wouldnt fit at all because of the problem you described. Apparently i need the face lift ones even though my car is 2003. I ahve this set lying back at my house if they are any good to you. because i'll just end up leaving them lying and sell them on ebay in about a year anyway. So give me a shout if you want them because they should be the ones to fit your mini
