maybe a silly question, but what is color of the stock springs?

mine is blue. driving av 02/02 cooper

shall i then assume i have the original ones

mine are black! 06 cooper, with stock springs!

Cant say ive seen blue springs before.

try koni, sure they do blue springs
or an aftermarket shock kit such as bilstien
ps mine are black
