Eibach Springs Set Up - Help

Help!

I have recently bought a gorgeous '54 Cooper S, which was lovingly lowered, had an ECU and Supercharger upgrade (to 201 bhp, 195lbs/ft), dinan cold air intake, upgraded tar.ox brakes front and rear, and an amazing miltek sports manifold and exhaust.

So, okay she is more than standard specification but with a 5 year tlc pack, I thought for her 1st MOT she deserved BMW Mini, she passed with flying colours! 6 weeks later she told me she was due for a service and again she was booked in. Whilst in i thought I would get the alignment/tracking checked out as she was pulling to the left.

Various work done, I pick her up she still pulls, I take her back later in the week and am told that they hadnt realised that she was not a standard Cooper S! - These are supposed to be BMW trained professionals!!! Surely it was obvious? Anyway, Im loosing the plot - their tracking/alignment system is set for standard specification and after me spending £170+ hard earned pounds I am none the better off.

They only way to resolve it, according to BMW was to get disc from whomever lowered with the specification. So, I call Minispeed, the guys who did the job, and they dont keep such records, and he referred me to the internet to check on what you mini lovers might have done to your vehicles.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? or tell me the spec of their lowering on Eibach springs?

Cheers guys!

From Eibachs FAQ...

Is it necessary to have my vehicle aligned after installing an Eibach Spring Kit?

Yes. Any time you work on the suspension system and after the ride height, it is necessary to check and adjust the alignment of the vehicle. By lowering the center of gravity and ride height of a vehicle to enhance the handling, some negative camber may occur, which additionally improves adhesion during performance driving. In setting up a performance suspension system, some negative camber is desirable. Eibach offers alignment kits for selective applications to assist in performance and street suited alignment requirements.

As far as I can see OE alignment will be ok but tyre wear may be increased, so they could adjust the camber to counter this.

Bear in mind if the car has Runflats and S-Lites it will pull to the left on just about all uk roads it's a character trait of run-flat tyres and heavy 17" alloys when combined with badly cambered UK A roads

Mine was the same until I changed to non-runflat goodyear eagles
