Offline | Here is a picture of the car as it is now. As you can see the rear is lower but not as low as it should be, should go down about another half inch. Then the front will drop alot!! Just to give you an idea. Should be done properly tomorrow or sat at the latest. Part time mechanic |

| GP 0380 | See you parked on a slight slope there to make up the difference, lol. You're the second person ive heard having fitment issues with the front eibach springs after they had just fitted the rears. Once in they are supposed to be the best so hang in there. Hopefully you'll have it sorted for the Ards peninsula run. Maybe a tip for all mechanics in future to try fitting the fronts first lol. ![]() |

Offline | i will tell you exactly what eibech said to see if it makes sense to you and is actually true. Apparantly from Jan to June 02 or about that mini changed the top housings on the front springs for some reasons then changed back because it didnt work out. Mine is sept 01 and the shocks are stamped august 01 which seems correct. For some reason eibech sent me 02 springs for that short period when they changed them!! Weird mistake to make but it is ok. They are in s.racer now and they look like the right ones so they are being fitted on Sat as his mechanic cant get down to then. All will be sorted soon enough. ![]() oh yes and another thing before i forget. I was in Bangor last night and there were alot of minis around!! there were at least 7 going in and out of pickie car park and ballyholme. Was anyone on here there?? |

Offline | as i said to you last night, im going to try and get the k&n panel filter bought and fitted before the run. After that im not sure. Prob: Clear lenses, chrome bulbs, either xenon style brighter bulbs or the halo units, full exhaust system, poss headlamps, spoiler, splitter. the list could go on. But for the time being, panel filter, and the lights inc indicators and that is it. I have already spent alot of money |

Offline | I will try ![]() The ride isnt bad at all tbh. On really bumpy roads it is quite harsh but I am not having a problem with the ride at all. I love it!! Actually, on nice roads it is smoother in my opinion. In reference to the McDonalds speed ramp, i can get over it at about 5mph, any quicker and the bottom trim scrapes. All good though, |
