Lower wishbone bushes

I need to replace my lower wishbone bushes; any suggest brands?

So far I've found: Superflex and Alta PSRS.

Cheers

I went with Alta PSRS on Friday fitted by Lohen Car was transformed.

Cant recommend them enough, they practically eliminated tramlining (Something that was quite bad on my setup), and so much better on full acceleration, again practically getting rid of any torque steer tyre pulling on the wheel. This i think was down to the Anti lift AND some Caster option that Lohen recommended (other option is just to add more caster).

For Ref my car has OEM LSD, Eibach lowering Springs, Eibach roll bars, GTT lower braces, JCW top brace (at mo) 18x7 wheels with 215/35 Yoko Parada Spec 2's.

Cant comment on the superflex, they are cheaper (By more than £100) but then you don't get the benefits offered by the Alta PSRS like Anti lift and/or added caster (see there site for best info).

Only down side I've discovered with the PSRS, is that the Yanks on NAM were having trouble with the screws staying tight on the metal shaft that the wishbone slots into on the PSRS.

Being loose did not effect the handling but caused an annoying metallic rattle.

If you can spare the cash then Alta PSRS.

Superflex can supply a set with the added camber now.

I fitted the normal versions and the car is so direct now!

Considering I already have Powerflex bushes fitted, would you recommend changing them for PSRS, given the anti-lift and caster benefits? Keep in mind that 90% of the time I drive my mini on the road, not on track.

As said elsewhere can't comment on the powerflex bushes.

If its a DIY job then possibly worth the £200 doing it, but if its not a DIY I wouldn't say its worth paying out £400 for them when you already have damn good bushes there.

I deiced to shell out the extra £150 for the Alta PSRS above the powerflext/superflex as was changing from shot standard ones anyway.

Yeah, well, I'll need to get them fitted by a shop, so maybe the price is not worth it. But then, I'll need to go to a garage to fit some headers soon, so maybe i could reduce the fitting price if I do it at the same time. I'll have to think about it.

Well if your upping the power a lot, then the Anti Lift maybe worth it on its own. I know that I love that feature

I guess since my plans are to swap the tranny from the 5speed midland to the 6speed getrag before upping the power considerably with a big valve head, cams and such, I'll fit the PSRS when I do the tranny swap. That it's a big job in itself so the fitting price for the PSRS would be almost drowned inside the fitting price for the new tranny.
