Eibach Pro Kit springs

Hi all
I just got my Eibach Pro Kit springs and are going to install them soon.
But on the larger springs there is some grey/clear plastic tubes with some oil underneath (see pic).

Shall they stay on or be removed before installing?

Got this reply from Lohen

The plastic tube is there so under compression the spring coils dont touch.
Do not remove this or move it as if you do the coil will touch itself and could then rub and rust.

Thanks to Tom@Lohen
