best upgrades for mini one suspension?

Hi. I have a mini one which i'm planning to modify a bit both visually and performance wise. I cannot find any information on whether it is possible to change the mini one suspension to cooper or cooper s suspension, especially the rear as i understand this is where the biggest difference is?

I have seen mini rear suspension on ebay but dont know how hard/expensive it would be to fit. what other suspension kits are good and reasonably priced for the mini one (1st gen)

You can fit Cooper S shocks and springs, but they won't be a big improvement. You can't fit the rear sway bar if you don't already have the sport suspension, unless you change the rear axle carrier with the one from cooper/cooper S. I did it and now I have an Alta 22mm rear sway bar, a bit noisy as I need to grease the bushings but really a big improvement in the car's handling. I think that's the best improvement you can get without spending too much. then there's tires, when you will change them choose a performance tire as they also are really important, and that's all. I'd suggest Bilstein B8 shocks and shorter springs, like Eibach or H&R instead of the Cooper S shocks and springs though.
