Offline | I think the MCS with 17" S-spokes/ SS+ suspension rides and works great, but I've only been able to put about 100 miles on her this afternoon. Just as I expected for a "sports" car Of course, my last vehicle was a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with 32- 11.50's ![]() Coop 2 (Speedy) - '07 DS/DS MCS |

| MINI2 Regular | On my MCS with 17s I don't find it too hard, I think it's the price you pay for the handling. My rather large chested girlfriend when going over bumpy road has mentioned that she might need to wear a sports bra in future though, and I must admit to being made aware that I could do with toning up in that area. ![]() |

| MINI2 Senior | I have only test driven MCS's (mine won't arrive til January) but one of the things I wondered about was 16" vs 17" - so I test drove both wheels. The cars both had SS+, and I took them out for good hard jaunts as well as casual drives. I liked the way the 17"'s looked and handled, and when I thought about the 16" ride (which I drove first) I really didn't recall them feeling THAT much more compliant. FWIW the MCS with 17” & SS+ is smoother than my Honda Civic EX sedan with 15"!!! I took those MCS over train-tracks at speed, and other rough surfaces. My brother - who'd been warning me off of the 17" changed his tune immediately after the first train-track. Maybe this has more to do with what vehicle you folks are used to. If you come from a cushy ride to an MCS with SS+ the 17’s might just be a little too much. To each his or her own ![]() |
