Lowering springs Choice??

I'm getting a new Cooper in a couple of weeks and it is on Sp Susp+ and 17s with standard 205/45 tyres.
Looking at other cars with this spec there is room for lowerering a bit say 20--30mm and I wonder what springs owners can recommend to fit the latest susp.
I am not planning on changing shock absorbers and don't wish much change in comfort just a lower centre of gravity and less daylight in the wheel arches.
What specifically would owners recommend and if in the UK a rough price guide would be appreciated.
Thanks --- Mike

I have H&R Springs. They lower the car, but still ride pretty smooth.

Thanks phat-mini for your prompt reply and pics.
What set up are you on as the wheels look 18s with some seriously low profile rubber.
I don't want to go as extreme as your look so it's great to get some previews, I appreciate it.I also think the coded side skirts add to the lower look and they are on my spec. Mike

Mike58, Phat minis car looks ace but the ride is very firm which can be a bonus on some occasions Anyway if your looking for lowering springs which dont lower quite as much as 35mm it might be worth finding out whether eibach are making springs for the mini yet as they normally lower between 25 and 30mm, my mate has eibach springs on his Rover and the ride is not really any different until you really push it where the progressive wind of the springs step in and everthing tightens up. Put it this way If he really pushes it into an island it not unknown to get a tad of oversteer

Eibach do indeed do springs for the mini - they were one of the first I think!

Now why anyone would want to push there car into an island I don't know

Any more pics of lowered cars?
If you have lowered 20--30 and are on 17 S spokes I'd LOVE to see a pic.
