Cool suspension help!

Ok, my coil-overs came in this week. Friends went to install them... they don't fit! Doh! Apparently newer MINIs built after March or April I guess have different suspension mounts compared to older ones. My MINI was built in February 2002. Has anyone experienced this? The coil-overs are Koni made for Racing Dynamics. Do we need adapters to make them fit or a completely different kit? Any info people can provide would be appreciated.

I think you have the "old" version before the left-pull issue was fixed. Which means that an entirely new kit is needed. sorry!

Whatever.

i had the same problem pal! and for our new minis! we are going to have to wait a month or 2 for them to come out! the only suspensions that fit on new ones are the spax rsx coilovers!! but they are expensive!! hope that helped.
