Thumbs up H-Sport coil springs are now available....!

Hey everyone... I just wanted to let everyone that our MINI sport coils are now available... Coils will provide a 1" drop all the way around... They are linear springs with 195lbs/in up front and 300 lbs/in in the rear...

The spring rates are not important. The wheel rate is. A MacP strut mounts close enough to the wheel hub that the spring rate and wheel rate are essentially the same. The suspension design in the rear of the MINI locates the spring further inboard of the wheel hub than the front strut so you can't just compare the spring rates front to back. That same basic reasoning applies if you compare a strut equipped car to one with double wishbone suspension (as in Honda Civic). The Civic will use a much higher spring rate to end up with the same wheel rate.

H-Sport knows what they are doing IMO.
