What's the best height lowering = mini~

Hi
i ordered a set of H&R spring. i ask the bodyshop how much will it be low down. they say front and rear 1.5 inch.
i'm just wondering what's the best height that won't damage the shock ..maybe 1.3 inch???

Cosmo Black & white "COOPER" Sony enclosure sub & speaker, Mb quartz :rear & tweeter, Pioneer Indash DVD player ,xenon: interior, indicator, sidemarker , whitesidemarker, chrome sidevent, Nology wire, 17 Bling bling rims,H&R spring

hi

i've had mine lowered by 25mm (eibach) front and rear, and that seems low enough to me. the only issue being i have to crawl at walking speed over traffic calming humps, or it scrapes the front spoiler

hope that helps

I called a rep at KYB (shocks) about this same question about 6 months ago. He stated that anything over a 1.5" drop is not going to be covered by even the best shocks warranty. So anything stock would prob be about the same, being that they are both gas shocks. I thought those were only a 1" drop for the mini anyhow? I wouldnt go any lower than that, unless you want to go with airbags!!! but you would be destroying a great setup!!

Lowering

Mini Lover

Just checking you have lowered yours 50mm at front and 35mm rear mines been lowered 35mm all round but doesn't seem to be much different, do you suffer from tyre rub with 225 as i have 215 with no rub but have stiffened rear anti roll bar

yes paul it rubbbed in the begin
but i mounted rubber rings around the shoks so the can't rub anymore and i installed a stiffened rear antirolbar to
but it drives verry hard right now i can feel every piece of sand on the road
but its great
