17"" S Spokes on standard suspension??

My dealer is trying to palm off some 17"" S spokes which have come off a MCS. He's giving me 1st refusal and a very discounted price & also taking our 15"" wheels in PX.

Has anyone got these on there MINI ONE?? I am not keen on MOD's but want to know how they will effect the drive, MPG handling etc. Also I have to take tyre expense into account.

They do look the business.... your 15's will drive faster than the 17's.
I have SS+ and 17's and love evry minute of the drive. I am still running CoopRaNite in but sure people will have comments on your Q.

Also depends on how much?? can you not keep your 15's??

Let us know what you decide

I have checked the size of the 17''whell out and there 7mm larger in diameter than the 15'' which means you will travel further for the same engine revs. Your acceleration may be slightly
less but top speed slightly more, not sure how this will affect MPG, you would think a little better given the above but then the tyre surface contact area with the road is greater increasing friction, and reducing economy.it's general a given that bigger tyres means less economy.
