Question Where should I get my springs installed

I just ordered the H-sport springs for my MC, but unfortunately, i dont have all of the tools needed for the installation. Where should i take it to get done? Would it be better to take it to a place that works on suspension alignment etc. or should i take it to my dealer? I'm worried that the shop won't know the exact process of working on a MINI, and my dealership charges insane amounts for short jobs. Which one is better?

I appreciate any information on this.

I'm having my H&R springs installed tomorrow at the dealer.

I don't think its as much of a short job as you think. It takes about 4 hours. Well, at least the H&R's do, and I don't see why the H-sport springs will be any less.

I would just take it to your dealer, better safe then sorry.

What i meant by the short job comment, was that even though i may take it in for a short installation, it seems that the service dept exaggerates nearly 2 hours over the expected times i see on this site. So i cant imagine what they will charge for a 4 hour suspension job.

If they charge 6 hours at 40/hour, that will be $240 ,nearly the price of the springs.

I think it is probably a good idea to go to the dealer though.
