Anyone lower on the stock shocks?

I know on most cars its a big nono to put lowering springs on the stock shocks. Does this hold true with the mini as well?
Thanks
Mike

Just about everyone who has lowered their car hasn't purchased new shocks. Do some searches on this site, the stock shocks have enough travel to handle the lowering.

Cheers,

Paul

i have lowered my mcs with eibach pro-kit springs.
i don't think it should damage the shock. but if doing the
lowering mod, be sure to complete with other suspension related things (sway bar, perhaps a camber allignment if needed) depends on how low u go. any where from .0 to 1.3 inches i think you'll be fine with just the lowering springs. nothing to worry about dude.
