Do the standard Cooper S springs fit a One, and are they any lower or just stiffer?

I would think they'll fit no problemo. The Cooper suspension is an option on the ONE and the S suspension is an option on the Cooper so no reason why not - I don't think.

There are many different springs for MINIs and it boils
down to the factory matching the spring to the spec'd
weight of the car (one, MC, MCS, ?sunroof, ?other
weighty options). Springs for a Cooper S should be
stiffer than One springs, but would be taller when
installed on a One.
If you get SS+ on a MC, the springs don't change, but the
struts and the swaybars and the front bar bushings are
upgraded to MCS parts.

seems I was wrong about same springs on SS and SS+ on cooper
