| DU07 OHO | Suspension Help Hi All, I'm planning on getting the standard suspension on my ONE upgraded but I'm not sure what to uprgrade it to. I've got 15" alloys fitted at the moment but I'd like to get some 17"s in the near future My budget is £800 or thereabouts so unfortunately the adjustable Bilstein Kit is too expensive for me really. As standard my ONE doesn't have a rear anti-roll bar fitted to the underside of the car but having searched the forums someone said that getting one fitted would upset the balance of the car. What about this in conjunction with a coilover kit or suchlike? Basically I've considered the Spax RSX kit, Koni shocks/Eibach springs Kit offered by West Tuning, Koni shocks/H&R springs Kit offered by AmD or the Leda Oil Filled Damper Kit - I'm at a loss LOL Be great to hear your suggestions or if theres a setup I haven't mentioned it'd be great if you could post that too. Help would be greatly appreciated Take Care Pat ![]() |

Offline | The extra weight of the 17s (unless you buy more expensive wheels and even then I'm betting the tire/wheel combo will be heavier) will probably hurt more than help. So are you really going for performance or looks? You need to be sure of the answer to that and proceed from there. |

Offline | I am very satisfied with my Koni/H&R spring set up. The car is quick and predictable. Adding a rear sway bar will sure change the balance of the car.....for the better......IMHO. |
