United-Kingdom mini one Suspension

I'm going to order my 2nd mini one in a few weeks.

And I'm going for sports suspension, does anyone now what the advantages are from this and does it lower the car much?

Also how much lower would you go? ( aftermarket 20-30mm? )

I'm having R99 wheels so i would want a slite gap between.

cheers

We have Eibach Coilovers on our Mini One. This can lower it anything upto 60mm. We have ours lowered 60mm all round as this helps to lower the centre of gravity and will also induce a little negative camber (which is always good!) which helps to give the MINI more grip through cornering.

I think, but don't quote me on this, the sports suspension plus will include lower springs and a rear anti roll bar. A rear anti-roll bar does not come as standard on a MINI One.

i have been told that MINI sports suspension plus ("ss+") lowers the car by 10mm.
i don't think the "+" is available to the One's though. not from factory anyway...
