For those interested, Coopersport.ca just posted on the vendor section of NAM that they have the JCW strut brace available. I pretended to order one and it came to just under $440.00 USD including (the cheapest) postage.
The ad says that they are at a premium price in Canada.

BTW, I have no financial ties to the company. I just thought it was good information to pass on.

Wish we could do it for less but, more often than not the, the retail prices on MINI stuff north of the border is quite a bit higher. Just trying to help out our neighbours to the south.

BTW, Jason was a real help to me recently on a related issue. I would not hesitate to do business with him, and though the JCW strut brace is selling for higher than what it was supposed to sell for here, who knows when we will ever see it here in the States. His price is still less than the same ones being sold on Ebay (by the time you figure in postage from UK it adds up!)
