Hi all

Took my mini in for its 2nd visit to Think Mini today. Where I had new front brakes, GRS Intercooler, Eibach's/shocks, Alta Cai, top, mid and lower strut braces and JCW Carbon Downtubes fitted.

This matched to what was already done has totally transformed the car. It now feels like its going round a Scalectrix track (but without the dread in the back of your mind that its likely to shoot off at any moment)

All I can say is thanks again, hopefully I won't be in for a while now. But I somehow doubt it

If anyone is looking for a Mini Specialist then look no further he is without doubt your man.

Did you uprate the brakes or just replace stock? Sounds good though...

I put the R56 Cooper S brakes on, they are the same as R53 JCW but without the pretty logo

A sensible choice That red paint and logo just keep nagging at me to buy them - I must resist!!!

He did paint them red for me tho

Well 1 week on and lots and lots of fuel!! My inane grin keeps getting bigger and bigger. I'm off from work next week so will be finding lots of twisty roads to tame

Just been admiring your pics...nice car and list of mods.. You prob already know this but the third pic in the first set, your wheel only has three studs. I've had an experience of a wheel nearly comming off...not fun... Just thought.... Heads up

Thanks for the comments. Don't worry about the wheel nut, its the locking 1 and its definitely there. I did have to go back out to the car to make sure when I downloaded the pics to the pc tho, was a bit worried.

Thanks! Enjoying it, oh yes!! Still finding myself just randomly driving everywhere. As for Dave, I trust him to do anything on the car and more importantly I trust his knowledge and his judgement.
