Hi, from US. I don't when the UK people can place an order. Personally I am waiting to see the car in person before deciding whether to get one or a Coupe (which I like a lot). My tendency is to get the newest car available as I did with my R56. I'm just interested in how the Europeans are reacting to the F56. I like what I see so far. The front they eliminated the bumper splitting the grill and went with that black bar, the rear they changed the tail lights and exhaust housing, and the sides they changed the doors (for the better). I like the interior.
There was a bar across the grille on the R56 that extended from the bumper, but it was body color not black (unless the car is black like your picture). It's 4" longer than the R56 was: 2" in the front (mandated by a change in the European safety standards), 1" more leg room for the back seats, and 1" boot. It's 1.5" wider and 0.5" taller and maybe 60 pounds heavier (about 2%). I do like the chrome front grille on the Justa better than the black plastic on the S. So you haven't heard of anyone actually ordering one in Europe?
I ordered mine last month and according to the dealer should be with me just after the official launch date mid march, fingers crossed for a prompt delivery then and I hope I like the colour as I've not seen it yet!
